What are flowers?
Flowers are our way of saying thanks to fashionistas for inspiring us all and for being active on the community!

What happens when I receive a flower?
Think of a flower as a virtual award, as virtual thanks! You get more visibility, you are featured on different areas of the site, it’s fun and your profile looks cool;)

What flowers can I receive?
There are several flowers that you can receive, and more will come. Rather than revealing them all, we prefer you to discover the flowers (and how to earn them!) as you share your style, and as you discover awesome looks and awesome fashionistas.

You can receive flowers (i) because you are active on the community, (ii) because the community loves your looks, (iii) because a brand or magazine or partner loves your looks and wants to give them more visibility… Two flowers we want to highlight are the Top Fashionista and the Lover.

Do I get a prize when I become a Top Fashionista or receive another flower?
No. We are here to be inspired. However, sometimes, brands or other partners might offer some awards and visibility.

What is a brand Top Fashionista?
A Top Fashionista represents the brand in the community. A brand Top Fashionista is someone whose looks of that particular brand are highly chic’ed by the community.

How do you calculate a brand Top Fashionista?
We take your 3 most chic’ed looks with this brand during the last 30 days, and calculate the average chics. The fashionista with the highest average becomes the Top Fashionista.

(To be eligible, you must have shared at least 3 looks with this brand during the last 30 days. To calculate the formula we take only looks shared more than 24 hours ago, and only the chics from registered fashionistas. This formula might change over time as we learn from your feedback.)

How long does someone stay as Top Fashionista?
A Top Fashionista holds this position until someone else gets a higher average chic.

How do you calculate a country Top Fashionista?
Same as above.

What is a brand-lover?
Brand-lovers wear a brand more often than anyone else!

How are brand-lovers calculated?
During the last 60 days, you’ve shared more looks of a given brand than anyone else (you must have shared at least 5 looks with the brand, in the last 60 days).

I am not Top Fashionista anymore. Why?
Someone has a higher chic average than you. Or maybe you don’t have 3 looks shared during the last 30 days.

What if someone tags looks with brands that are not in the looks, only to earn more chics in that given brand?
The account will be deleted as soon as we find out.

There is a brand that does not have Top Fashionista, or Lover. Why?
There are two requirements for brands to have a Top Fashionista / Lover:
- A minimum number of looks shared on Chicisimo including an item from the brand: 50 looks.
- At least one fashionista must have shared 3 looks with the brand, in the last 30 days (for Top Fashionista) or 5 looks/60 days (for Lover).

I’m a brand! How can I get involved?
As a brand, you can give flowers to the looks you like most, and that better represent your brand. These flowers will give more visibility to these looks, and of course we all love receiving flowers! If you are interested, please contact us!
